Today I was at the Norwich weekly flea market looking through a box of old books thinking wondering why I never see any vintage book covers designed by the different designers I love, then bingo a Romek Marber designed penguin crime book, and only a pound! Funny since I blogged about him the other day.
Moral of the story is if you know what you want you might just find it! Heres hoping I find a Paul Rand or Alvin Lustig cover next…
Also I saw some nice books illustrated by 2 of my favorites; Ronald Searle and Osbert Lancaster but they weren’t cheap, if I see them next time Il try making some low offers.
